Pottery Weekend Challenge 2/22-2/23

There have been many ceramic artists that have inspired me over the years.  One of them was a well known potter names James Watkins.  His work was different than anything I had ever seen and inspired me to stretch myself and try new techniques.  Here is a picture of one of his pieces:

Your Pottery Weekend Challenge question is:  At what university is James Watkins a professor, and what is he a professor of?

So for your first weekend challenge you will need to find out some information for me.  I studied pottery at a college in Newberg Oregon.  To win the Weekend Challenge prize you need to tell me what college I went to and tell me the name of one of the professors at that college that teaches pottery.  Good luck.  The first two students that post a correct answer will win a prize.
